Welcome to my website. I live in the northwest suburbs of Chicago. My paying job is publisher of Commercial Building Products magazine, a business-to-business publication. This website, however, is about photography and reef aquariums, i.e., what I do when I'm not producing magazines. The primary focus of this site is my photography, which can be seen in the albums of my gallery. New photos are added regularly, particularly in the Flowers and Reefs. albums, so keep checking back to see new ones.

You also might find interesting things in my blog: Whatever Strikes Me. In the blog you'll encounter a variety of topics, but photography will dominate. One of the things I'll try to post regularly in my blog is background on my recent photos. Check them out and join the blog to comment and discuss the variious topics.

Put Some Support Under Your Camera

If you don't own and use a tripod, you need to buy one and make it a regular part of your photography. Once you start using a tripod, you'll see a marked improvement in your images.
